edotcoBangladesh (“edotco BD”), an integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Bangladesh is celebrating 5 years of service. The tower sharing company has been at the forefront of the country’s tower infrastructure landscape since 2013, providing end-to-end solutions in the tower services sector from tower leasing, co-locations, build-to-suit, energy, transmission and operations and maintenance (O&M).
edotco BD is a part of edotco Group, the first regional and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia. With a network of over 28,000 towers across the world, edotco has been successfully operating in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Pakistan and Myanmar. edotcoGroup was recently awarded the Frost & Sullivan 2018 Asia Pacific Telecoms Tower Company of the Year Award for demonstrating exemplary business growth and performance in Southeast Asia.
Having built over 8,000 towers across the country, edotco BD has been contributing significantly towards sustainable and green engineering in Bangladesh’s telecommunications sector for the last 5 years.In 2017, edotco BD became the first tower company in the country to utilize bamboo in the construction of a telecoms tower instead of the traditional steel structures.
The company launched its “Tower to Community” project in 2016 as part itscorporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and has since servedmultiple rural communities of Bangladeshincluding NijhumDwip, Shibpur, Nazirpur, Kuakata, JadurHaat and Nilphamari.
Through its solar-powered sites, edotco BD has provided electricity to over 700 families, schools and mosques with a plan to extend the facility to over 1,000 families by the end of 2018.edotco BD has been providing clean and safe drinking water to the villagers with the installation of solar-powered water pumps under its Clean Water & Sanitation project.

edotco BD was recently selected by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to obtain a conditional tower sharing license. Upon completion of the conditions, this license will allow edotco to build and manage telecommunications towers for multiple mobile network operators in the country.
