Azahar Mondal, a grocery shopkeeper at Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur has become millionaire after buying a Walton brand refrigerator for his shop and registering the product under the ongoing Digital Campaign Season-4.

Azahar said that he runs his six-member family with the little income from his small shop. He had not enough money to make the business bigger. So, he has planned to buy a refrigerator and store cold drinks, ice cream, etc. in it. But he had not enough money to buy the refrigerator too. Nevertheless, he went to Walton’s Exclusive showroom ‘M/S Adnan Traders’ at Sonapukur Bus Stand area and opted for a large fridge priced at 26,255 BDT. He bought the refrigerator with installment facilities paying only Tk 3000 as down payment. Then, he registered the product under the Digital Campaign and got a message from Walton with the confirmation of getting Tk 10 lakh.
He said, I bought a Walton television nearly six years ago which is providing very good service. I know high standard Walton products are low in price with various opportunities including installment facilities. So, I have bought the fridge from Walton and what happened next is like a dream to me.
Thanking Walton, Azhar informed that he would expand his business with the money received from Walton.
