Country’s largest online marketplace Daraz (daraz.com.bd) has successfully signed a partnership agreement with Alpha Islami Life Insurance Limited. Alpha Islami Life Insurance Limited is a public limited company incorporated with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms. It is registered under the Department of Insurance, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to transact life insurance business in Bangladesh. The company has started its operation in May 2014. So far It has over 11 offices & 6 more offices to be launched all over the country soon. Due to this agreement, Riders and deliverymen (eligible) who are directly under the payroll of Daraz Bangladesh Limited will be getting a very beneficial life and medical insurance facility in future.
The signing ceremony took place at the Headquarter of Daraz Bangladesh Limited. During the signing ceremony, attendees from Alpha Islami life insurance limited were M. Salah Uddin, CEO; Md. Mazharul Islam Rana, EVP & Head of Group Insurance and Md. Ansiur Rahman Sumon, AVP & Head of Claims. On the other hand, attendees from Daraz Bangladesh were- Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Managing Director; Kazi Mohammad Jafar Sadek, CHRO; Md. Mahbub Hasan, CFO and Ashfaquzzaman Tonmoy, Head of DEX.
