bKash payment is rolled out at KFC, Pizza Hut outlets

bKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country, signed an agreement withTranscom foods Ltd,the sole franchisee of KFC a& Pizza Hut in Bangladesh, facilitating its customers to make payment via bKash at KFC and Pizza Hut stores all over the country.

Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer of bKash and Amit Dev Thapa, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Transcom Foods Limitedexchanged the agreement recently at the bKash’s head office

Under this deal, customers can make their payment through bKash at all KFC & Pizza Hut stores by simply scanning the QR code from bKash App.

On this occasion, bKash has launched a couple of cash back deals for its customers allowing them to buy a ‘Medium sized pan (favorite line)’ pizza from any pizza hut storeson January 23 and 24 and’ Chicken Fries Meal’ from any KFC stores on Jan 30 and 31.

For Pizza Hut deal, a customer will receive instant cash back amounting Tk. 396 upon making a payment at of Tk 695 through bKash app. In other words, a customer has to pay effectively Tk. 299 to avail the deal exclusively designed for bKash customers.

For KFC deal,a customer will receive TK 240 as cash back upon making a payment of TK 439 through the app which effectively makes a customer to pay only TK 199 for ‘Chicken Fries Meal’.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam (retd), Chief External & Corporate Affairs Officer Chief Marketing Officer, Mir Nawbut Ali, Chief Marketing Office, EmonKalyanDutta, Head of Sales, Mohammad Mahbub Sobhan, Head of M-Commerce of bKash and Kazi Md. Zafrullah-FCA, Deputy General Manager-Finance, Asna Farah Haque, Marketing Manager, Tanjina Akter & Ziaul Karim, Deputy Managers- Marketing of Transcom Foods were present during the ceremony.
