It is to be noted here that in 2013, the ‘Biometric Identity and Worker Information Management System (Worker Database)’ software is implemented throughout the country with the initiative of BGMEA to ensure all the facilities to the owners and workers of the growing ready-made garment industry. It’s a unique software system, which stores biometric fingerprints, pictures, jobs and all other information of all workers in the factory in the local and cloud server databases, which are used later on to identify and confirm with all other factory workers. This database provides all kinds of information related to Service Book, Insurance, UD, Cash Incentive and other purposes in one-click to the garment industry personnel. Currently, this software is using by more than 2300 factories of BGMEA for more than 35 lakh workers every day. Our local organization Tiger IT Bangladesh and Systech Digital Limited have technically assisted in developing, installing, training and maintaining this unique software system.
