BASIS National ICT Awards Kicks Off

BASIS National ICT Awards 2019 kicked off today which is being held for the 3rd time. Winners of BASIS National ICT Awards will be nominated for APICTA Awards 2019 to hold at Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

In this regard, a press conference took place at BASIS Auditorium today. BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, Senior Vice President Farhana A Rahman, Vice President (Admin) Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Vice President (Finance) Mushfiqur Rahman, Convener of BASIS National ICT Awards and BASIS Director Didarul Alam were present.

BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said, In BASIS National ICT Awards innovative and prospective ICT projects of Bangladesh would be recognized. Through a robust judging process the best ones would be selected. These projects depict the wide potential of Bangladesh’s ICT sector. Also, selected projects will bear the flag of Bangladesh at APICTA Awards 2019, bringing honor for our country.

BASIS National ICT Awards Convener Didarul Alam said, the objective of the BASIS National ICT Awards is to provide recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals, students, entrepreneurs, SMEs and organizations with operations in Bangladesh who have contributed to the development of the Digital Bangladesh initiatives or in building applications and services for the benefit of Bangladesh. Primary application process is now live, which will continue till 18 July 2019.
