Banglalink signs MoU with AUW to facilitate students’ skill development

Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in the country, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asian University for Women (AUW) to provide AUW students with an opportunity to upskill themselves by learning from Banglalink professionals and participating in various programs, for one year.
Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, Banglalink, Ayesha Saeed, Head of Talent Management, Banglalink, Ankit Sureka, Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability, Banglalink, Mr. Sanaul Karim Chowdhury, Deputy Registrar, AUW and Malaka Marjina, Internship Coordinator, Center for Career Development and International Programs, AUW participated in the signing ceremony, which was held virtually considering the ongoing pandemic.
Under this agreement, AUW students will get the opportunity to take part in Banglalink’s youth empowerment programs such as Learn from the Startups, Campus to Corporate, Career Bootcamp, Ennovators, Strategic Assistant Program, Advanced Internship Program and Womentor.
Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, Banglalink said, “The youth of today dream bigger than before and are more focused on achieving their dreams. Banglalink has always believed that empowering the young generation with the right learning platforms and opportunities will help them achieve their potential and gift us with strong leaders for tomorrow. Our agreement with Asian University for Women is one of the many industry-academia collaborative initiatives Banglalink is currently undertaking for youth empowerment as well as women empowerment, and I am excited at the prospect of seeing more and more young women transform their emerging talent into flourishing careers.”
Sanaul K. Chowdhury, Deputy Registrar, Asian University for Women said, “AUW is very happy to sign this MOU with the one of the leading telecom companies Banglalink. It is a wonderful opportunity for AUW’s Students to work as internees in a multinational company like Banglalink, from which they can gather experience for real-life work environments and will be able to build up their career as a great professional. This opportunity will enrich our students with good working knowledge too.”
Banglalink will continue to take similar initiatives to facilitate youth empowerment in the country.
