The government has decided to connect Bangladesh with another submarine cable, its third, in order to cope with its burgeoning tech-savvy population’s hunger for data consumption, according to Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar.
Jabbar, now a two-time technocrat minister, said this in his Chief Guest’s address for the VoLTE trial run programme at mobile phone operator Robi’s Corporate Office located in Gulshan.
