1st Mobile Gaming Contest in Bangladesh

A three-day exposition of smartphones and tablet computers kicked off on Friday morning at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in city’s Agargaon area. Amongst various other attractions, one of the main attractions of this expo is the mobile gaming contest, brought to you by Rise Up Labs.

Rise Up Labs is an independent game studio established in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2009. They are fast-growing mobile game developers focused on creating and bringing fun, high-quality, free-to-play games in both iOS, Android and Windows devices. Games like Tap Tap Ants (over 15 million downloads and counting), Bubble Attack and Shoot the Monkey are just few names in their rapidly expanding portfolio.
Their latest creation, Highway Chase, is the game that is being played in this mobile gaming contest.

Highway Chase is a game for both iOS and Android devices where the player plays as a police sniper & their mission is to shoot thief cars from a helicopter It may seem easy, but timing the shot while avoiding civilians cars can be quite challenging. The game also features real life sound effects, scenic backgrounds, variety of cars and helicopters, multi-lingual support, and a fast paced, arcade style shoot-em-up experience.

The tournament is completely free and open for all and will be ongoing for the entire length of the event(12th to 14th December), with the winners walking away with a Tab and a Smartphone. Anyone can register for free to take part in the tournament and try to win the grand prize of a tablet, or the runners up prize of a brand new Smartphone!
