16,000 Sellers have Joined the Daraz Seller Miotree Program 

16,000 sellers joined Daraz last May through the “Daraz Seller Moitree Program”- which was launched with the aim of standing by the distressed business individuals and entrepreneurs across the country affected by the covid-19 lockdown. Sellers are currently working on establishing, restoring and managing their business with Daraz (daraz.com.bd), besides free e-commerce training has also been provided to them. Also, they are enlightened on how vendors can make their business easier by using a variety of digital tools and promotional features to increase their sales on Daraz shop. As a result of joining all these sellers in Daraz platform (daraz.com.bd), a total of 20 lac products have gone live or on boarded and more than 5 lac ordered products have already been delivered. This nationwide seller support initiative was mainly launched to boost the recovery of the SMEs selling on its platform and empower all local retailers to sell online and re-establish their businesses. Daraz also provided ration assistance to the sellers who suffered losses during the lockdown by sending them necessary groceries in two phases.
