Winners of Banglalink Next Tuber Season 2 announced at Grand Finale

The winners of the second season of Banglalink Next Tuber, the first-ever digital reality show in the country, were announcedat its Grand Finale, which markedthe ending of a two-month long competition participated by talented video content makers from all across the country. Eminent actress Suborna Mustafa made the announcement attending the event as the Chief Guest. Also present at the event were Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink, MNurul Alam, Chief Compliance Officer,Banglalink, Ehsanul Huq Tito, Head of Operation, ABC Radio FM 89.2, Mustafa Kamal Sayed, Head of Program, NTV, Ahad Mohammad, Managing Director, Bongo and other high officials of the organizations.

Nazib Ninad and Priyom clinched the winner’s title exhibiting brilliant video content making skills at every stage of the competition. The winner was awarded a Banglalink contract worth Tk. 3 Lakh along with an opportunity to visit Google’s Singapore Head Office. Marisha Rahman andZarif Kabir were announced as the first and the second runners-up and awarded Banglalink contracts worth Tk. 2 Lakh and Tk. 1 Lakh, respectively. In addition, they will receive content making supports from Banglalink and Bongo.The Grand Final of the second season will be telecast at 9.05 PM on 28th December on NTV.

Eminent TV actor Iresh Zaker, popular film actress Purnima and two YouTube celebrities Tamim Mridha and Shouvik Ahmed graced the show participating as the members of the Jury Panel. NTV and ABC Radio 89.2 FM were the TV and Radio partners of the show respectively, while Bongo supported the initiative as the associate partner.

We launched Next Tuber with a vision to empower the young generation of our country through a unique digital initiative. These talented youngsters have contributed to fulfilling that vision showcasing their brilliant skills throughout the competition. We hope that the experiences they gathered through their participation in the competition will help them pursue their dream of becoming future celebrities.”

Introduced as a unique digital platform for promising video content makers, the digital reality show became an instant hit among youths from all across the country. The competition started back in September and thousands of aspiring content creators participated in it submitting their unique video contents.
