Experts urged the online natives to avoid hate speech in name of freedom of expression and utilize the social media to deal social goods.
Cyber security experts and academics also mentioned the importance of knowledge sharing on cyber security among nearer ones while addressing a seminar at University of Comilla-UNIC campus in capital’s Uttara (on Friday) recently.
Cyber Crime Awareness Foundation organised the seminar in association with development agency Manusher Jonno Foundation.
UNIC Boad of Trustees Chairman Prof Abdullah Shaikh Mohammad Bayzid–Ul Hasan inaugurated the progamme as chief guest while UNIC Trust Secretary General Rifazzel Hossen and CCA Foundation General Secretary Abdullah Hasan were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, UNIC Boad of Trustees Chairman Prof Abdullah Shaikh Mohammad Bayzid–Ul Hasan said: “Digital literacy is must before adopting technology. And the social awareness programme to inspire young generation in best usages of technology,”.
The seminar on cyber security aimed to raise social awareness on challenges of internet space by sharing knowledge among students and academics, according to the organizers.
