Toffee to stream original film ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ from Eid day

Mridha Bonam Mridha, the first original film for the digital entertainment platform Toffee, will stream on the platform from the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The film can be watched from any network for free on android and iOS devices and Android TV.
With three Meril Prothom Alo Awards (2021) nominations, “Mridha vs Mridha” is a courtroom drama, bringing family feud stories to a new height. The father-son duo of the film, played by Siam Ahmed and Tariq Anam Khan, is a pivotal part of the story. The cast also includes Sanjida Prity and Nova in lead roles. Roni Bhowmik directed the film.

Actors Tariq Anam Khan, Siam Ahmed, and Nova Firoz were nominated for Meril-Prothom Alo Awards for their acting performances in the film.

Abdul Muqit Ahmed, Director, Toffee, said, “Banglalink wants to bring internet and digital-driven entertainment to the audience through Toffee. We are excited to release our first original film this Eid on Toffee. I believe audiences of all ages will like ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ for its relevance to societal issues.”

“Toffee is bringing diversity to its content library with major live sports leagues, renowned films, dramas and live TV. Toffee being the first Bangladeshi user generated content (UGC) platform, creators get to upload and monetise contents too,” he added.

“Mridha Bonam Mridha” is sponsored by Teer. Details about the film’s release can be found on Toffee’s social media.
