Teachers to be recruited through fair selection process: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dipu Moni said some problems is prevailing in the educational institutions all over the country and hinted at hiring more teachers to resolve the shortage of tutors at schools.

“One of the problems at educational institutions is the lack of teachers. More tutors will be recruited to address the problem and the teachers will be recruited through a fair selection process,” she said this at a programme marking 50-year anniversary of Haimchar Govt Boys High School.

Dipu Moni assured that the appointment would be transparent.

The minister said the government had resolved various problems plaguing the educational institutions and developed the infrastructure.

“We are addressing the issues one after the other since it is impossible to do everything at once,” she said.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Samar Kanti Basak presided over the programme while Upazila Parishad Chairman Nur Hossain Patwary, Deputy Inspector General Nibas Chandra Majhi, Chandpur Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Moinul Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Mizanur Rahman, among others, were present.
