Samsung Mobile Bangladesh celebrated their 1 million fans on the social media front by giving away a brand NEW Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This makes Samsung Mobile Bangladesh as one of the most followed mobile phone brands in Bangladesh.

On December 12, Samsung Mobile launched a contest on their official Facebook page in the occasion of surpassing 1 million fans. The Facebook fans simply had to comment on a post sharing their most notable moments in year 2014.

The post reached over 1.5 million fans and over 20,555 valid comments were received out of 39,950 people who had participated. Each comment received a unique token number from the Samsung Mobile Bangladesh Facebook page.

For the first time in the history of Bangladesh, the draw was streamed live on YouTube on 7pm December 24th. Hosted by Mr. Hasan Mehdi, Head of Samsung Mobile Bangladesh, the winner was chosen, completely at random. The winning token number was 4 and the winner Afifah Afrose Esha, a student from Khulna City College received a brand NEW Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to celebrate the start of the New Year.
