Sabbir has taken over as the first CEO of BITM

Talukdar Mohammad Sabbir has taken over as the first Chief Executive Officer of BASIS Institute of Technology and Management Limited (BITM). As a part of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), BITM has been working since 2012 to create skilled manpower in the IT services sector of the country. So far, more than 50,000 trainees have received training in various subjects from this institute.
Before taking over as the Chief Executive, Talukdar Mohammad Sabbir served as the Chief Coordinator of the BASIS-SEIP project, a joint venture between BASIS and the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance and funded by the ADB, for the last six years. Under this project, BASIS provides training to 30,000 trainees in various subjects out of which more than 75% are working in various fields after completion of the training.
Talukdar Mohammad Sabbir has been working in various IT skills for BASIS for the last 11 years after completing his academic chapter from BRAC University. He has also worked as a visiting faculty member of several universities and has also worked as a lyricist.
