Robot Control Competition held at DIU Auditorium. About 150 students of Daffodil International University from dept of Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering participated in the Competition. Students took a 15 days training on robot control before Competition. Visiting Faculty of Daffodil International University Mr. Takayoshi Suzuki facilitated the training to the students. Total 17 groups participated in the final competition.
Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees and Professor M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, DIU were present in the event and supported the students. Group Capt Md. Hossam-E-Haider, Senior Instructor, Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering (EECE), MIST was present as Judge of the Competition and awarded certificates to winners.
Among others Professor Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Head, Dept of EEE, Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head, Dept of SWE and Mr. Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) were present in the final competition program.
Team comprising with Md. Iqramul Hasan, Mahima Akter and A.M. Zabaer of Computer Science and Engineering Department became Champion.Team comprising with Md Asraf Uddin, Rubel Mahmud, Md. Al Amin, Md. Mostafizur Rahman of EEE Department and Md. Sabuj Sarker & Shuvojit Biswas of CSE Department became 1st Runner up and team comprising with Sajol Kumar Das of EEE Department and Md. Rukunuzzaman of CSE Department became 2nd Runner UP.
