RAB raid, 1,000 mobile sets seized at Bashundhara City

Iphone6, 6plus, HTC, Oppo, Jellphone, Asus, Lenovo. LG what not? A mobile court backed by Rapid Action Battalion Rab seized at least 1,000 cell phones from ten shops at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in Dhaka yesterday. The shops were also fined Tk 2 lakh in total.

Executive Magistrate Sarwoer Alam along with Rab-2 members and Bangladesh Telecommunication and Regulatory Commission representatives conducted the drive in the country’s second largest shopping mall between 3:00pm and 7:30pm today.

The shops were for selling counterfeit and stolen mobile phones, the magistrate added.
