Pathao Limited, the largest on-demand digital platform in Bangladesh, launched Uthao campaign in the start of the holy Ramadan. Under this campaign Pathao announced to give 4 helicopter rides to 8 people, 8 air tickets for4winners and 6 Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphones to top winners. The winners were selected amongst top users, top riders and captains from the three different cities, after they completed a given target.
The helicopter ride winners were: Md. Afzal Hossain (Dhaka User), Arnob Das (Chattogram User) (after Mrittika Chowdhury forfeited her prize), Md Rony (Dhaka Bike Rider) and Nurul Islam (Dhaka Car Captain).The winners got to take another friend or family member as a partner in their helicopter journey. Novoair (Airline tickets): Hasibul Hasan (Dhaka User), Muktadir islam (Dhaka User), Md. Rubel (Dhaka Bike Rider), Md Sumon Hossen (Dhaka Car Captain). The winners received two Novoair plane tickets each – one for themselves and one additional for a friend or family member.
Phone winners: Taimum Mishuk (Dhaka User), Mashfiq Hoque (Chattogram User), Radwan Ahmed (Sylhet User), Rana Halder (Dhaka Rider), Md Afzalur Rahman (Chattogram Rider), Pritam Kumar Roy Prantho (Sylhet Rider). The winners had received Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphones
Pathao CEO, Hussain M Elius said, “It is amazing to see how a fun idea like “Uthao” can become reality. We loved helping out people reach their hometowns during the Eid rush, the busiest time of the year, in such an amazing way. It feels really good to see such happy faces around.”
Pathao users, riders and captain were all eligible to participate in this campaign and the minimumtargets were: 20 trips for the users, 60 trips for riders and 40 trips for captains. Among the target achievers, the top contestants were selected after fraud check. Samsung and NOVOAIR are associate partners in this exciting campaign.
