Padma Bridge is just an Uber trip away

On June 25, millions will witness the opening of Padma Bridge. Bangladesh will ride on opportunities as Padma Bridge is no longer a dream. As the longest bridge in Bangladesh opens for public, commuting cross district will never be the same. Be it for business or leisure.
Iqbal, a thirty something banker, is equally excited about Padma Bridge. His wife Shama is counting days for her first ride on the bridge. The couple does not own a car yet. But Uber Moto is Iqbal’s solution for transport. Every morning, he calls a bike on his Uber app. Going to work has been less dreary ever since. Iqbal later found out: the app also has other options to travel in and out of the city. With Uber Rental and Uber Intercity XL, Iqbal browsed options that will let him travel with friends and family, be it small or large in numbers, to travel to destinations out of the city. Why not some Mawa Ilish and some selfies on Padma bridge? Iqbal and Shama thought.
“It’s great that private cars are not a must for family holidaying anymore. Who wants parking hassles? Or long lines at gas stations? I call Uber even when I’m travelling out of the city,” Iqbal said.
“I invited my parents and in-laws on a trip to Padma Bridge. Uber Rental is really a good deal for long trips.” Shama added.
Uber Rental is a car rental system based on hourly calculations. You can rent a car and go to multiple places with it. Uber XL Rental is also based on hourly calculation, but the only difference is that it is for bigger groups. Uber Intercity is for outstation trips to distant places like locations outside Dhaka. This service is available for all 64 districts of Bangladesh where Uber Intercity XL is for bigger members of the family or groups.
With Uber, you don’t have to worry about commuting. So what are you waiting for? Grab your phone and go to your desired location with a single tap of a button.
