Mustafiz is now for IPL

Young Mustafizur Rahman will play for IPL. Bangladesh’s pace ace Mustafizur Rahman has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for $208,000 or 1.4 crore Indian Rupees.

His price was fixed during the auction of the Indian premier league on Saturday.

The left-arm pacer is going to join the Indian side, following his remarkable success against Indian national team last year.

Mustafiz’s price exceeded the base price set for him at 50 lakh Rupees.

NDTV reports: Sunrisers Hyderabad was first to show their interest on the 20-year-old pacer, mostly known all around the world for his deadly cutters.

As soon as team Sunrisers Hyderabad, mentored by VVS Laxman, called for the Bangladesh wonder boy, Daniel Vettori’s Royal Challengers Bangalore hastily made their move to get hands on the ‘cutter master’. A stirring round of bidding followed subsequently, according to the report.

It took 19 bids to Sunrisers Hyderabad to emerge as the winners in the race of getting Mustafizur in their team.
