Laptop Fair kicks start Thursday

laptop fair is going to hit the capital from Thursday, aiming to meet the growing domestic demand for laptops and latest devices.

The three-day event titled ‘ESET Laptop Fair 2019’ will be held Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in city’s Agargaon. Organiser Expo Maker hosted the event of its kind for twenty-first times.

Top-ranked computer brands will expose the latest products at different segments of the expo arena including 1 titled sponsor pavilion, 4 sponsor pavilions, 26 mini pavilions and 10 stalls.

Cyber security product ESET is the title sponsor of this edition of the fair while computer brands Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo patron the event as co-sponsors. Besides, Kaspersky is the cyber security partner, Techshohor.com and EduMaker as partner for thr expo as usual.

Organisers shared the details of the expo at a press meet at Best Western La Vinci Hotel in city’s Karwan Bazar area on 8 july Monday evening.

Among others, MD of Star Tech & Engineering ltd Mahabub Alam Rakib, Business Development Manager (BDM) of Asus Global Pte. Ltd Md. Al Fuad, Marketing Manager of Dell Bangladesh Protap Saha, Business Development Manager of HP Bangladesh Mohammed Kawsar Ahmed, Sales Manager of Lenovo Rashed Kabir and Strategic Planner of Expo Maker Muhammad Khan present on the occasion.

Briefing to the media, Muhammad Khan informed that visitors from all walks of life including youth generation flooded the previous editions of the exposition.

“We believe, the expo will break its record this year by overwhelming participation of technology lovers. Global and local computer brands participates the expo to introduce latest technology and innovations in devices. Buyers will get special price cut on all computers and accessories,” Muhammad Khan explained.

There is organised a quiz competition on social media (facebook.com/laptopfair.bd) where participants will be rewarded with attractive prize, according to the organizers.

The expo will open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. The entry fee is Tk 30. The school students with uniform or identity card and physically impaired people can enter freely. Smartphone users can get entry permit by downloading Techshohor Apps from app stores.
