Huawei, a global leader in information and communication technology (ICT) solutions, is attending three day long ‘Bangladesh ICT Expo 2015’ held on 15th to 17th June 2015 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka. Huawei will be displaying various devices, IT and mobile money solutions during the fair.
ICT Division of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) are jointly organizing the exhibition. Md. Abdul Hamid, Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
In device category, Huawei, the third largest Smartphone brand, will showcase four (4) models of smart phones and 2 tabs. The models of the device are Y5C (MRP- Tk 6,990), G Play mini (Tk 15,990), Honor 4X (Tk 19,990), P8 (not fixed), Youth-2 tab (Tk 11,500) and T1 – 8 inch tab (Tk 16,500). At the exhibition, Huawei will also display its latest technology on Mobile Money Platform for local banks and mobile operators. It is worth mentioning that leading global mobile financial service providers such as M-PESA and Mobilink are using Huawei’s software and server to provide mobile money services. In IT category, The Chinese tech giant will be showcasing mainly server, storage and data center solutions.
