‘Game of Goals’ Prize Giving Ceremony held!

The first edition of ‘Game of Goals’ fantasy football competition finally came to an end, following their season-end Prize Giving ceremony held at the Thyme Restaurant and Party Center in Dhanmondi on Sunday.

The Game of Goals (GoG) team, consisting of young football-loving entrepreneurs, organized an exciting fantasy football competition last year prior to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where the participants had to choose their preferred teams and accumulate points as per the number of goals scored by their predicted teams.
A total of 16 worthy winners received prizes sponsored by the supporting partners of Game of Goals, Greentech Resort & Convention Center (GRCC) & Square Feet Housing Limited (SFHL) respectively.
Executive Director of GRCC Arefeen Raafi Ahmed and Director (Operations) of SFHL Montazer Sadaf Khan distributed the winning prizes to the lucky contestants along with the Founder and Co-Founder of GoG, K. B. M. Nasiruzzaman and Kasif Ahnaf Bin Kazemi, at the Prize Giving event after delivering their respective speeches and vision about GoG.
Mr. Yasin Shohag topped the overall leaderboard to claim the winning prize of GoG, a 40-inch LED Smart TV, while Mr. Rahat Mahmud and Ms. Sharnali Rahman grabbed the One-Night Complimentary Stay opportunity courtesy of GRCC after finishing as the leader of Group Stages and Knockout Stages correspondingly.
The Top 10 finishers of both Group Stages and Knockout Stages received their Favourite Team Jerseys and Adidas Telstar 18 Football according to their position.
Dhaka Tribune and Radio Edge 95.6 FM, the media partners of GoG, took care of the necessary media coverage about the GoG campaign during the FIFA World Cup 2018.
