Chairman of Marico Group visits Dhaka

The Chairman of Marico Limited, Harsh C. Mariwala is arrived Dhaka today for a business meeting with the Management of Marico Bangladesh Limited (“MBL”) and its Board. He is staying Dhaka for 24 hours.

Over the last 3 decades, Harsh Mariwala’s leadership has transformed a traditional commodity driven business into a leading Consumer Products Company, in the Beauty and Wellness space. Currently Marico is present in several countries across the emerging markets of Asia and Africa including Bangladesh. Marico has nurtured multiple brands in the categories of hair care, skin care, health foods, styling and male grooming. Marico markets well-known brands such as Parachute, Parachute Advansed, Saffola, Setwet, Nihar, Livon and Hair code amongst others. Marico’s focus on sustainable profitable growth is manifest through its consistent financial performance, Marico does a business of USD 781 million worldwide; a CAGR of 16% in Turnover and 20% in Profits over the past 5 years.
