“Blood Donation Challange”: Humanity will Win!

A Blood donation drive will be initiated on 16th June, 2019 World Blood Donor Day to encourage people all over the world to donate blood by taking “Blood Donation Challange. This will be inaugrated by Famous singer Rashed Uddin Ahmed Topu. The event will be kicked off on Brac Center, Mohakhali premises where people will donate blood, upload the picture of blood donation in social media (Facebook) with hashtag #Blood_donation_Challange #Bloodman and nominate their friends to donate blood doing the same. This campaign will be run till 30th July 2019 to encourage people all over the world to donate Blood.

Every year more than six million people in Bangladesh are engaged in blood transfusion for more than one million patients. Of these, 5% of negative group blood patients die because of not to get blood at the right time. More than 6 thousand babies are born with thalassemia disease every year, those who need blood every month for having thalassemia disease. In Bangladesh still 32% of national blood demand met from professional blood donors (mostly drug addict selling blood). The blood donation scenario is almost same in many developing countries.

Blood donation challenge can be introduced reaching the objectives to encourage blood donation by a good number of people and nominating or challenging others to do this noble work that can be defined as “Blood Donation Challenge”. Public influencers, Policy makers, celebrities, Uyolo Country Ambassadors, Bloodman volunteers will start donating blood at 16th of June 2019 at different parts of the world promoting blood donation challenge focusing World Blood Donor day at 14th June 2019. Creating awareness by public figures and challenging their fans to do periodic voluntary blood donation can create buzz by promoting in Facebook.

This Noble intiative is taken by Bloodman and  supported by Facebook, Brac and Uyolo.

Celebrities, public influencers and blood donors will join the the event, donate blood and promote their powerful voice in social media (Facebook).
