Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson, Khaleda Zia, affirmed on Sunday that movement would be launched soon with the people.

Khaleda Zia said this at a rally held at Dhaka Engineers Institution organised by Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal.

Khaleda Zia also said the people of the country want movement and change. They want to get back their voting right as they want to elect government through voting, she added.

The people often are appealing to BNP and 20-party to create a movement.

The BNP chairperson further said, “We are to launch movement shortly with the people. We will hit the road with the people defying arms. Our movement will be peaceful, constructive, and well-liked as the autocratic and illegal government will be swept away like house of cards.”

Khaleda said, “Freedom fighters are the architects and the greatest sons of the country but they had been used as political tools in the past, even they are being used now also. But we will never do that.”
