ActaTek focuses on education digitization in BD

Singapore based international company ActaTek has taken initiative to digitize the education system in Bangladesh. ActaTek introduced the software titled Intelligence Attendance Monitoring System (IAMS) that helps to supervise the student attendance of an institution. The system already set up at Prominent English medium Oxford International School as pilot project.

“Government eyes to full automations at about 10,000 educational institutes across the country through the Education and Information and Communication Technology Ministry. As a result, the campuses will go fully digital,” sources said.

ActaTek software also notifies guardians through text about students presence in schools. “We are using the ActaTek Security Product now. We are very hopeful to introduce a paperless school from next session. We are automated our campuses in different categories like Accounting, Teachers Student management, etc.

The RFID system will start soon. When a student enters school, a text will be sent to guardian’s phone and attendance counted automatically. The automation will help us to provide lessons to learners for more long time than past,” The principle said hopefully.

“Guardians will get notifications through text and email when students enter the schools by the Intelligence Attendance Monitoring System at schools. Besides, they also can track the position of students while they are in vehicles” Only Bangladeshi ActaTek Executive Director Saifur Rahman Paul briefed about the school automation service from ActaTek. “The software will keep update guardians about students’ academic performance and progress.

The guardians also monitoring the student’s activities through video options,” Paul added. “Similarly the attendance can be counted differently through IAMS system. Anyone can choose finger thumbing or Identification Card processes.

Besides, we welcome all interested importers for introducing the system in Bangladesh,” Paul explained. The IAMS is used in different countries in the world including Singapore. The system is ready for Bangladesh now. We also try to set up ActaTek south Asia Head quarter in Bangladesh.
